Purpose, Mission & Vision

Light of Hope Minsitries' purpose is to give hope to the hopeless, and to serve His people; feed the hungry, clothe the naked, heal the sick, mend the broken, set free the captives, and raise the dead. We are God's children and in the same way He sent His son Jesus Christ to serve not to be served, we are here to do the same. We are here to be a reflection of God's love and light and to shine His reflection on those who are lost in the dark. We are to help in times of trouble, to encourage in times of doubt, and to bring the message of the Messiah Jesus Christ. Jesus brought hope to the hopeless, healed the sick, fed the hungry, rose the dead, and brought light to those in the dark, for He himself is Light.
Our MISSION is to provide faith-based teachings, services and charitable goods to the people of New Britain and the Greater Hartford area. Our mission is to provide these services, faith-based teachings, and goods, with hope, and through the Word of God, that the people of New Britain be uplifted towards a brighter future for themselves and families.
Our VISION and aspiration is to teach, lead and equip through the Word of God, and to show through God’s love how to obtain a future filled with wisdom and to show that God has a great plan for each one of us. To teach that we are all created in God’s perfect image and that He loves us and has a better life for us through Him.
Light of Hope Ministries… is all about the people, NOT their circumstances NOT their backgrounds.
We are all God’s children and we need NOT look at other's sins as if we they were any different than ours. We all fall short but thank our Heavenly Father that He sent His son, Jesus Christ, so that we die to ourselves and now live for Him. Because of his son Jesus Christ who is IN us, we have another life, a better life, a free life through the Holy Spirit that by grace was deposited in us. God is an awesome God and wants us to live life to the fullest now while we are here on earth. Ask yourself today… Am I living or existing?
Society makes everything about them; what they are going through, what they need, what they want. But what about what others need? What about what others are going through? God sent his son Jesus to serve us, heal us, give us sight when we were blind, give us hearing when we where def, give us life when we’ve been dead, set us free where there are chains, and to give us freedom when we are prisoners.
Apostle Paul was in jail but was not a prisoner. He was in chains but was free. He was not limited. He had peace no matter what his circumstances. He knew that he served a mighty God, a God that would fight his battles. He knew that nothing was impossible for God. Paul sang unto the Lord and all was broken. He was set free, he had God’s favor!
Do you ever feel like you’re just going through the motions? Maybe nothing is exactly wrong with your life—your job, family, relationships, routines, rituals—but nothing is very exciting either. Do you have a quiet suspicion that something is missing?
Jesus promised a different kind of life for us. He came so that we could have abundant and eternal life—not just eventually, but right now! Are you just barely alive, or are you FULLY alive?
