You Can Make A Difference

One of the greatest things that we can do is to be a blessing to others. In doing this, we’re sowing a seed for God’s Kingdom. There are so many who do without and there is a great need of the following items for the homeless that reside in shelters.
DONATE ITEMS:
Clothing: If you have clothing socks, shoes, children's clothing, shoes, under-clothing, pajamas, (all sizes)
CLEAN and in Good condition for families in need. Often men and women of these families are in need of proper attire as they search and interview for employment.
Furniture and House Goods: Do you have household items you no longer use or need such as furniture, lamps, tables, chairs, extra TV’s, beds, mattresses, sheets, pillows etc., that are in great condition and they are stored in a basement and not being used? There are many people who sleep on the floor of their new apartments once they leave from the shelters because they don't have a bed. There are families that move here from other states or countries and have nothing. There are others whose homes have been burned down and are left with nothing; and need a fresh start.
If you have any of these items of know of someone who does, please contact us so we can arrange a date and time to pick-up items. We are located in New Britain, CT.
Donate your time: You're always welcome to donate your time. There are times we will have the need for moving trucks and also need strong hands to help deliver carry furniture or household items. There are times when we will need to bless those who are unable to do everyday chores we take for granted either because they are elderly, or have temporary or longterm health issues by simply cooking and delivery a meal, helping with yard work, making a trip to the grocery store for someone in need, or even just someone to spend an hour or two having a conversation or listening to someone who has no one to talk with. There are many people who have no one to help them or even to have time to spend with them.
We can all bless others in some way or another. If you'd like to donate goods, your time or your services, please contact us.
2 Corinthians 8:14 (NIV)
At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality,
2 Corinthians 9:10 (NIV)
Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.
2 Corinthians 9:12 (NIV)
This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.
Philippians 4:19 (NIV)
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
Titus 3:14 (NIV)
Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives.
Blessings to all!
