Fellowship Groups
A few years ago, I started to have lunch with a group of close friends to catch up. During these lunches, we would share joys and pains. We celebrated the great joys in our lives, and console each other during life's challenges by listening to advice, and giving advice, we were there for one another with unconditional love. Our tight circle gave us inspiration and reminded us that there was a greater power looking over us and that when we trusted in our fellowship, we grew stronger with the Lord.
It was sometime last year, that I had a calling from our Lord, that I should expand our lunches to friends of friends who might benefit from the same love and hope we were giving to each other. Soon, these women became my inner light and inspiration to create the Light of Hope Ministries. I thought to myself, there are so many people out there going through the same situations that we are and others going through so much worse, so why not do it for everyone?
.
Shortly afterwards, my teenage daughter and her friends would often come to my home and gather in my kitchen, of course the kitchen is the heart of the home, and in the midst of my daughters gatherings, I found myself listening to their concerns, their worries, their pain, sadness and emptiness. Once again, my heart was filled with the Holy Spirit and I knew, that in the same way the fellowship in the women's group gave hope and inspiration to women, a youth fellowship group was needed to give hope and inspiration to youth.
To date, I'm very proud to lead two fellowship groups devoted to women and youth. To learn more, click on our Fellowship Group's tab for Women or Youth.
