"LOVE 4 ORPHANS"
Light of Hope Ministries is co-lead a two-week mission trip to "Shalom Orphanage" in Uganda in December of 2019.
The aim of our mission is to provide the children of the orphanage with some basic needs; Rebuild and upgrade the orphanage due to the amount of orphans, purchase 100 cots for the children to be able to sleep comfortably, soap, wipes, toothpaste, toothbrush, shoes, uniforms, clothes, food, basic medical supplies as well as school supplies. Shalom Orphanage is currently operating with minimum electricity, and running water is obtained from a watering hole nearby. We also want to build a medical facility on the property as there are no medical facilities within close walking distance. In the instance that we are unable to construct medical facilities on the property, we are looking to invest in a vehicle for these children to get to medical facilities, medical aid and school.
The goal is to raise a minimum of $50,000 to assist in the construction of a larger compound with running water and solar electricity for the orphans and families while also providing basic needs.
